ERDUAN "HYBRID" XHAFERI
BIOGRAPHY
Born on July 4, 1985 in Peje, Kosovo, Erduan Xhaferi is a Creative Director of Society Dance Academy, Dancer, Choreographer & Movement Coach who has become established as a significant creative force in direction & choreography.
Highly respected for his vast knowledge of dance and movement, he is acknowledged for his innovative approach to creative movement in numerous mediums including Music, Fashion, Art, Theatre, Award Shows, Live Events, Television & Film. His analytical method and desire to push the boundaries further means his creativity & inspiration is ever evolving.
With an extensive list of dance, choreographic and production His credits attest to both his choreographed and/or special appearances in countless music videos. Erduan has performed on television in arenas and various stages such as Opening Act for USA Artist T-Pain’s concert held at the London o2, Midnight Madness Basketball Event at the Copper Box in the London Olympic village, Opening Act and lead dancer for the first Breakin Convention held at Saddlers Wells Theatre and many more.
A gifted dancer known for his dance skills and experience Erduan introduced for the first time some of the Street & Hip Hop styles to appear on Albania mainstream media after appearing on the only televised season of Albania’s Got Talent show in 2010 making it until the Final live show. Erduan’s exposure on Albania’s Got Talent made him well known in Albania, raising his profile which resulted in working on various new projects. Throughout his career, Erduan has taught at numerous dance companies, Schools, Colleges, dance events and worked on many community projects with Councils & arts organisations in the UK and internationally.
Erduan’s repertoire has not been limited to Hip-hop and Street environments as he directed and created his first theatre production which took place at Paul Robinsons Theatre in 2015. His creativity and storytelling skills using movement was well received particularly for his “Visual Poeticz” pieces.
Combining dance and interactive media by blending dancing bodies and technology illustrates our present age in poetic and artistic way, which captivated the audience and resulted in a standing ovation.
Over the years, Erduan developed his own unique style and choreography process followed by all the experience he gained working in the industry and also running a business and therefor wants to give young people opportunities to gain knowledge by given them a creative platform to be inspired.
