Age

Youth membership of Society Dance Academy is open to all young people  aged from 5 - 25 regardless of any protected characteristics. The reason for these age restrictions is due to our programme offer which is delivered through age-specific sections.

This ensures our programme is relevant to the learning and development stages of young people within each section.

Volunteers should not be overlooked, based on age, for a role for which they have the correct skills and aptitudes required to undertake the role.

 

Society Dance Academy is committed to making reasonable adjustments to support disabled young members and adult volunteers so that they have access to the same opportunities and experiences as non-disabled members and volunteers.

All disabled members should have access to the same broad and balanced programme and experiences as their peers. Society Dance Academy has been produced to support our volunteers in making reasonable adjustments to for young members and volunteers.
